Hello everyone!

Long time no see. We're back from our long, long hiatus! Sorry to keep you waiting, but we have been busy. But now we are back up and running full speed ahead. It is now our top priority!

We are working on new collections and I finally got around to decide on shipping prices for hats. So expect new items for sale soon. Right now I bring some pictures I took while we were working today!

NEW ITEMS!!!

I'm really sorry for the lack of updates but there hasn't been much coming our way. Nevertheless, we have put up the remaining items from B-80's for sale at etsy among others. They're all simpler than usual, but very pretty nonetheless. Other very special items are also to come very soon!

Aishiteru Honey will have a small sales stand tomorrow (saturday) at "B-80'S", an 80's party that will take place at ESPAÇOKARNART. We're making special, cheaper piaces especially for the party!

It will definitely be a good party filled with 80's cheese, so if you feel like having fun tomorrow, stop by. For information on the party and a map, go to their official website.

Snakeskin paper

After we recieved our first two orders (three now, by the way) we wandered around Algés trying to find the simplest possible bag to put our items in. After a trip to the chinese shop and some other local shops, we realised there was no way we were going to find simple plastic bags. So snakeskin pattern paper seemed like a good alternative. It's not quite easy or cheap, but thanks to the waiter at Pacman (local coffee shop) who lent us an old pair of scissors, it turned out to be fun. We're not sure if it was the new Jennifer Lopez single in spanish or Tokio Hotel playing on the tv screen that got us somewhat inspired :P

Anyway, this paper will make very pretty packages for at least our first few orders! Until we get something better, we guess. So here are some pictures we took while we were making them...

Now Sara has to go have some dinner and Liliana will join her.

I spent all night editing photos and uploading to Etsy... I know I said friday, but assuming I started at around 1am, technically, in a way, well, it was still kind of friday! Since I really need to go get some sleep and I don't know when I'll have time to fix the website, the shop section will disappear for a while and it will link directly to our Etsy shop. It's only temporary, though. It would also be great if we could take better pictures for the website.

So...

Sad, sad news.

So we made like, 3824982357983 new pieces today, but then it became dark, too dark for pictures. Tomorrow I have an important appointment during the day, so taking photos and opening the shop has been postponed to friday. I'm really sorry!

Either way, I don't come empty handed tonight. Our website has a new layout, so make sure you go see it and tell us what you think. Don't just take a glance, follow the link to the "about us" section for a laugh.

Also today we've ordered 500 (that's right, five hundred) business cards, which look like this:

And! Last but not least, we did take some pictures tonight. Just not good enough for the store. So, here's a peek at some new jewelery...

Even though we didn't get to open the store today, I feel accomplished for now. I worked really hard the past few days! And you can't say I didn't try. And Liliana, too. Poor little thing, she was working with me all afternoon and night, and she hadn't slept for 48 hours! She had a presentation this morning, I hope she gets a good grade.

Etsy shop & stuff.

Hello everybody!

So I finished a new version of the logo, i think it looks much nicer. Other than that, tonight I've been working on making an Etsy shop. There is nothing there for sale at the moment, but tomorrow night I will put a few items for sale! Not much, but, please look forward to it!

The reason I have decided for etsy is that because our bank account is in Portugal it is very hard for us to install paypal buttons directly on the website, also Etsy is a convenient and popular place for crafters to host their stores at. Nevertheless, I plan to have our website pimped up with galleries of the items and everything it deserves as soon as possible!

Also, I have been thinking about starting an inspiration book for Aishiteru Honey. Like a research book, with collages and pictures and drawings, even text. I've been planning to do this for a while, but I don't know where to start. I know right, don't think about it just do it! It's what I've been thinking, but thinking about thinking never goes anywhere. Anyway, I was thinking I want this blog to be an extension of it. I want to let you know not only about our latest news, but also about what inspires us and what we consider to be part of our brand's imaginarium.

For a while we've been collecting photos of clothes and accessories we find interesting, also random photos we find on the internet. Also I found tons of make-it-yourself books lying around with great ideas. My mother has always been very interested in art and crafting, so she spent her life buying books about such things that she never used. Which has turned out to be very useful for us!

I was about to start babbling on how I really enjoy boy's clothes, but I don't know what my point was anymore. Maybe because it's 5 am. So I'm going to say goodbye and please be our costumer in the future!

me and liliana have been busy, therefore we haven't been working as much as we should. probably i will only be able to open our online store in the start of march, instead of this week. either way, i have now seriously started working on our logo, and i came up with a decent temporary version:

i think it still needs a few adjustments, the crown doesn't seem to fit in well with the rest of the image.
please tell me what you think!

ze stuff, and our 1st mini-hat

So here's some of the crap on our usual working place...

lace, ribbons and incomplete items and some metal pendants and beads.

Also, here's what I've done today! Our very first mini-hat! I'm very proud of this one, I hope you like it too.

me & my kitty just had to try it on! haha.

There are still some details missing, such as ribbons to attach it on the head and the lining. But everything else is pretty much done!

Today me and Liliana bought a few fabric roses of various colours for our next items. Also, i have now the necessary material to start working on some lovely mini hats!

Also, I have been looking around ebay and bought some lovely cameos and lockets which will hopefully will turn out to be part of beautiful accessories. I am completely in love with these, and I hope you will love them too! While I'm waiting for them to get in the mail, I leave you with some pictures...

And so I didn't go to Spain...

Today I had free time, so with the help of my friend nanakiss i took pictures today of four of our items. I was going to take pictures of more stuff, but it got dark really early so we didn't have proper light. Anyway, expect photo updates very soon!

This is one of our first pins, the silver skull with the wings is one of our favourite pieces, it's a pity we only have a few!

This choker is inspired by some of the jewellery at h.naoto. We have been making a lot more necklaces and chokers inspired by it.

This is my favourite piece. I wish I could keep it! It has fur and a black rose and it looks good closing up vests and jackets.

This is your classic handcuff accessory. Hopefully we will be making a lot of these, it's probably one of the few items which won't be unique models.

I hope you like these very few items! Those brooches take a long time to make. Tomorrow night I will be working together with Liliana and we might take a few pictures of what we're working on now. Anyway, please tell us what you think!

Well, here's something I should've started doing earlier. We have been very lazy these days, but that's about to change. The logo is still in progress, but it will most likely be something like what is doodled on the icon! Not very imaginative, I know, but we think it represents well the idea behind our brand.

We have quite a decent amount of necklaces and brooches, but we took a christmas break which caused an incomplete waist bag and several other projects to be left behind. Nevertheless, next week hopefully we will get back to work and things will get back on track. We just need a little enthusiasm and I believe your feedback could help us be more motivated to go on working.

I've already put a new version of our website up, check it here. It's very simple but quite temporary, just until we open the store. Also it's still under construction. Meanwhile, I will take pictures of some of our work and upload it for everyone to see. Since it's already morning, and I still have to sleep, I'm not sure I will be able to do it today. This weekend I am probably going to Spain with my family and Liliana will be with her mother, so it's quite possible that pictures will only be available by wednesday!

I really want to start getting people's interest from now on, and I'm counting on you my friends to help me. Please shower us with constructive criticism, suggestions and support... we need the strenght!
